CONFERENCE CONSULTING is a partnership consisting exclusively of AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters) members. This, in turn, is the prerequisite for our membership in interp.net, the international network of groups of consultant interpreters, which gives us access to over 2500 highly qualified colleagues all over the world. CONFERENCE CONSULTING is the only partnership in Austria whose members have all passed the accreditation test of the Joint Conference and Interpretation Service of the European Commission in Brussels (SCIC), now called DG Interpretation, and are regularly recruited for EU conferences in Austria and other EU member states. CONFERENCE CONSULTING was awarded a contract to provide simultandous interpretation for all conferences organised by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Austrian EU Presidency 2006. The partners of CONFERENCE CONSULTING frequently work for clients in Central and Eastern Europe and maintain regular contacts with colleagues in the new member countries. We know where to find the best interpreters with extensive EU experience in that part of the world. Through their voluntary work for national and international professional associations (UNIVERSITAS - Austrian Association of Translators and Interpreters, AIIC - International Association of Conference Interpreters), the partners of CONFERENCE CONSULTING have contributed towards creating a sound basis for the exercise of the profession.
